Volunteers like you help to make Take to the Lake possible!

This year, Take to the Lake will be at Lower Shaker Lake on Saturday, August 23rd at 10am-4pm. The event will feature kayak rentals from 41 North Coastal Adventures, canoe and kayak lessons from Cleveland Metroparks, Yoga, a Lower Lake Hike with Dr. Roy Larick and Shaker Historical Society, desserts from the Sweet Suite 216, and exhibits from partners like Cleveland Water Pollution Control, Cleveland Heights Green Team, Cleveland Amateur Boat Building Society, the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, Rust Belt Riders, Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District, and more!

From helping with setup, signing in and directing attendees, to volunteering as a safety boater, there are a variety of roles that volunteers can help with. Each volunteer will receive a free T-shirt, lunch and snacks.
